I decided to partner with my friend, urban farmer and co-founder of Cedar Valley Greens, Sarvesh, to show you how to make three simple and easy plant-based, candida diet recipes featuring microgreens!
In case you haven’t heard about them, microgreens are essentially a mix between baby plants and sprouts and vary in colour, taste and texture. Microgreens are harvested anywhere from 2-3 weeks of their germination and as a result contain higher nutrient levels than more mature vegetable greens.
Given all that info, I decided to give it a try and made this video to show how you can incorporate microgreens into your meals/candida diet!
The microgreens that we used were:
Berry smoothie with sunflower microgreens
Green salad with various microgreens
Rice noodle stir-fry with broccoli, bok choy and cabbage and radish microgreens
